We at Mufflex have just completed the creation, fabrication and installation of our new Rear muffler bypass system (RMB) for the Dodge Challenger SRT8. Our goal was to create an inexpensive way to achieve more horsepower and added exhaust note without the replacement of the whole "catback" exaust system.
The stock pipes are already 2.75'' and the primary "suitcase" muffler is a straight through design already. The stock rear mufflers make the exhaust do a huge zig and zag (restriction) to let the exhaust exit the rear of the car. Our 3" Stainless Steel pipes maximize the final flow to the stock exhaust tips that will be reused.
We will be placing pictures of this exciting new system on this page along with a video to show Challenger SRT8 owners how this uint looks, sounds and performs.
