GTO Installation Instructions
Put car on a lift or a set of drive up type ramps (it is not recommended to use jack stands because the car will be moving around during the install) Using a sawzall, cut the exhaust tubes directly behind the factory welds of the resonator (fig1)
After tubes are cut use a 15mm swivel socket to remove resonator from factory exhaust pipes (fig2)
 After resonator is off you must remove old gasket and clean surface thoroughly so new gasket will seal properly.
Put 3/8 bolts through the factory exhaust pipes pointing towards the rear of the car then hang the gaskets on the bolts.
Put the clamps on the exhaust pipes and proceed to slide the X pipe over the exhaust pipes and lift the entire unit up to the head pipes.
Slide the new bolts through the flange and snug up. Align the tailpipes in the bumper bezels, then tighten the band clamps, and finally retighten flange bolts.
